On Thursday 23 February, 2006 at Western House Hotel, Ayr, the Ayrshire Business Awards 2005/2006 were held and attended by 27 finalists. The awards were hosted by Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire in association with the main sponsor, GlaxoSmithKline.

Business Communications were runners up in the category Most Entrepreneurial Young Company. This award is designed for businesses under three years old which show a high degree of entrepreneurship and vision for the future, with the potential for further growth and expansion in turnover, profits and employment levels.

Iain Muir – Managing Director of Business Communications comments;

While I would have loved to have won this accolade, I am delighted to have been named as the 2 nd most entrepreneurial young company in Artier. The judging was based on our very first year in business and I am confident that as we grow this will not be the last of these events we will be considered for.
